How do I apply for a loan?

Am I eligible?
You need to be with the post office for over a year, your pay stubs need to show that you are physically at work, working 32 to 40 hours EACH week, with a Net Take home pay of $800 or more, not in the middle of a bankruptcy, and (current pay stubs must show your state and federal taxes being paid where applicable), .
How soon can I get my money?
Money is transferred by ACH the next business day except for Friday’s and Holiday’s.
How do I make payments?
Payments are made bi-weekly through your Postal Ease allotment.
PostalEASE is the telephone enrollment system for Postal employees and provides convenient and secure access for you to make your allotment or “net to bank” (Direct Deposit) selections
What amount of loans are available?
They range from $0 – $1500 (depending on what state you are in. Example: Ohio’s lowest loan amount is $1050 – $1500.
Can I make additional payments?
Yes, there is never a penalty to make additional payments, they can be made through money order sent in by mail or increasing your allotment.
May I pay-off my loan early?
Yes, without a penalty! Payments came be made by sending a money order by mail.
Is there a cost to apply?
There is a one-time fee of $25 – $30 depending on your state.
